“GURU PRATHIBHA PRABHA – 2023”

“The transformation of education begins with teachers”

Preparations have been done to hold the “Guru Prathibha Prabha” teachers and principals appreciation ceremony this time on 20th of September at the auditorium on the Provicial Department of Education organized in line with the annual international teachers day to honour the services rendered dedicatedly and courageously by the teachers and principals in Sri Lankan school education system that creates the future citizens of the country.

The aim of this national honorary function is to motivate and encourage teachers and principals for a more productive and efficient service and promote the recognition of teachers and principals up to a more respectable level as professionals having a remarkable importance among other professionals.

At this function, our school principal and two teachers are scheduled to be felicitated which is organized by the Provincial Department of Education.
